Intelligence Planner (Planning and Exercises) MID
This position supports DIA through intelligence planning and exercise support. Your expertise will assist in developing campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning, playing a vital role in senior leaders' decision-making, including the DIA Director. Your analysis will indirectly impact the battlefield and strategic decisions across the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in integrating Defense and National intelligence support capabilities into operational planning, including collection, analytic, and targeting activities, in accordance with JOPES.
- Support the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning.
- Assist with red teaming and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.
- Provide WMD intelligence expertise to support analysis and planning at strategic, operational, and tactical levels for DCP, ensuring plans are resource-informed, risk-aware, and adaptable.
- Apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and demonstrate ability to work semi-independently.
- Use logical evaluation of multiple information sources, interpret analysis, and defend judgments with sound conclusions.
- Produce timely, clear reports and assessments using Microsoft Office tools and web formats.
- Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Develop structured research within security protocols, recognize nuances, and resolve contradictions in information.
- Utilize complex analytic methodologies to eliminate uncertainty and strengthen arguments, including structured techniques like Analysis of Competing Hypotheses and Red Team Analysis.
- Understand intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, including sensors, platforms, and human sources.
- Evaluate collected intelligence, develop collection requirements, and collaborate with collection managers.
- Demonstrate comprehensive mission knowledge, complete developmental training, and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Lead teams in researching critical problems, guiding analytic methodologies, and challenging perspectives.
- Possess strong knowledge of CWMD and experience producing intelligence tradecraft.
Additional Requirements:
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, communication, briefing skills, and enthusiasm for collaborative work.
