This mid-to-senior level role reports into the Supply Chain department and is responsible for working with co-manufacturing partners, using our evolving Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) tools to determine inventory needs, issuing and tracking purchase orders (POs), and proactively managing supply risk. This includes working in Excel-based models and leading the transition to the Atlas Planning Platform by John Galt. The Supply Planner must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about driving forecast accuracy, supplier performance, and in-stock execution for our growing product portfolio. This is a full-time, paid, salary-exempt, remote position. The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 USD/year.

Responsibilities
  1. SIOP & Demand-Supply Planning
    • Own and evolve the SIOP planning process using Excel and Atlas (John Galt) to determine supply needs.
    • Use forecast data and inventory targets to recommend and place purchase orders, and proactively identify potential out-of-stock risks using Tableau and SIOP tools.
  2. Contract Manufacturer (Coman) Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturers; lead regular calls to review open POs and production statuses and resolve issues.
    • Manage supplier relationships and production timelines to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
  3. PO Execution and Tracking
    • Issue POs based on planning output, track through completion, and communicate updates across teams; update and maintain PO data (e.g., EDD/ERD) and visibility in NetSuite, Excel, the SKU Master, and internal planning tools.
  4. Out-of-Stock and Inventory Optimization
    • Monitor Retail and E-commerce inventory levels and maintain OOS trackers.
    • Analyze inventory trends and recommend replenishment actions or adjustments.
    • Optimize orders based on MOQs, price breaks, and supply chain constraints.
  5. Cross-Functional Communication
    • Partner with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align plans and communicate order updates, risks, and supply delays proactively.
    • Support coordination of launches, transitions, and supply exceptions.
  6. Continuous Improvement and Reporting
    • Drive improvements in planning tools and processes; recommend improvements in forecast accuracy and supply responsiveness.
    • Utilize Excel and BI tools to support data-driven decisions.
  7. Other responsibilities as assigned.
  8. Some travel (<5%) may be required on an as-needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or similar supply chain roles required.
  • High proficiency with NetSuite (or other ERP systems) and Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups) required.
  • Vendor/supplier management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated experience with Atlas by John Galt is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SIOP/S&OP processes and demand-driven supply planning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly analytical with experience managing PO flows, inventory, and supplier performance.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
Benefits Summary
  • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
  • Sick time.
  • Paid company holidays.
  • Flexible vacation.
  • Medical, vision, and dental (USA).
  • Flexible Spending Account - FSA (USA).
