Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks a supervisory professional to coordinate supports for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, ensure quality services, and manage scheduling to cover all shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3 years in the field; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred, plus strong customer service and decision-making skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years in developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in a related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; supervisory or management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and MV-Required criteria met.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals receive quality services and community engagement.
• Coordinate and manage services for individuals served, incl. medical, household, behavior, finance, benefits.
• Use behavior health interventions to improve outcomes.
• Develop and assess behavior support strategies and provide training.
• Collaborate with the service team for strong communication and customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure thorough training.
• Monitor staffing hours to provide appropriate services for all shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals, families, the county board, and team.

At ViaQuest Residential Services we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensure that the individuals we serve are receiving quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensuring the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing the effectiveness of the behavior support.
• Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and make sure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
• Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities is required.
• Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
• Valid Drivers License
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
