Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director to lead the Integrated Watershed Management practice areas, coordinating with market sectors and operations to deliver high-quality technical services. The role focuses on strategy, risk management, and staff development across HDR’s service lines.

You will mentor leaders, drive standards, and engage with industry groups to raise HDR's profile while supporting client pursuits and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• For leadership roles core service is technical design, maintain a professional Architecture/Engineering registration.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams and collaborating with other directors.
• Committed to quality, HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and ensure quality standards and delivery expectations.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development and project pursuits.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and publications.
