Job summary

HDR, a leading employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Business Class Director for Integrated Watershed Management. This senior role directs technical competencies, strategic planning, and client engagement across HDR's service lines. The IWM BCD will mentor technical leaders, coordinate with market sectors and operations, and help shape risk management and project delivery.

Travel is expected up to 35% and location is flexible within HDR's U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a professional field (arch/engineering preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of related field experience.
• Leadership in business class or professional services with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management, processes, and quality standards.
• Drive QA/QC and coordinate with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards, and techniques.
• Develop strategic plans with market sector directors for the business class.
