Qualifications

• 4+ years of outside or inside experience in supply chain management, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a similarly applicable industry.
• 2+ years of staff management with a proven track record as a team leader.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications where Vallen products can deliver cost savings.
• Knowledge of financial and business acumen; ability to interpret and manage profit and loss statements.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to onsite customer teams providing Integrated Supply solutions and handles staff activities such as interviewing, hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Manages P&L to meet or exceed budgeted goals for local site and drives profitability and sales commitments.
• Drives contractual customer commitments, including cost savings and KPIs at the local site.
• Demonstrates urgency in customer service to external and internal customers.
• Ensures customers pay Vallen according to contractual payment terms.
