Job summary

Vallen’s Integrated Supply Site Manager role is based on-site at a customer location to lead a team of associates, drive program growth, and ensure profitable relationships that advance Vallen’s financial goals.

This position requires 4+ years in supply chain or related fields, demonstrated staff leadership, and strong customer relationship skills. It includes responsibility for P&L management, cost savings initiatives, and meeting contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of outside or inside experience in supply chain management, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
• Preferred 2+ years of staff management with a proven track record as a team leader.
• Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude and knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications where Vallen products deliver cost savings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and business acumen; strong understanding of interpreting and managing by profit and loss.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and the aptitude to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to onsite customer team(s) delivering Integrated Supply solutions and staff management duties.
• Ensures sales and profitability goals for local sites are achieved by managing P&L and budgets.
• Drives contractual customer commitments and KPIs at local site.
• Demonstrates urgency in customer service to external and internal customers.
• Ensures local customer pays Vallen according to terms.
