Job summary

The National Park Service in Boston seeks an Interdisciplinary Integrated Resources Program Manager to lead long-range plans for inventory, evaluation, documentation, preservation, research and interpretation of park resources. Qualifications

• Experience managing park resource inventory, evaluation, or preservation.
• Experience with interagency agreements and collaborative projects.
• Ability to lead and coordinate diverse, cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops long-range plans for inventory, evaluation, documentation, preservation, research and interpretation of park resources.
• Oversees interdisciplinary work groups addressing asset management, deferred maintenance, historic preservation, and cultural and natural resource stewardship.
• Provides leadership and ensures coordination and collaboration.
• Conducts overall program evaluation and monitors organizational alignment and effectiveness.
• Undertakes hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of directorate staff.
• Prepares environmental assessments.
• Negotiates cooperative and interagency agreements.
