Qualifications

• Experience identifying, recording, and preserving archaeological/historic built resources.
• Experience in fieldwork related to preservation and research tasks.
• General understanding of managing data and collections from preservation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating park operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate interactions with partners, volunteers, staff, contractors, licensees, and lease-holders.
• Plan and evaluate park programs, events, and community outreach activities.
• Schedule, assign work, train, and instruct staff, volunteers, and docents.
• Recruit and recognize park volunteers and contractors.
• Develop and implement service agreements and contracts and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with other departments and agencies to schedule programs and events.
• Explain park policies to partners and others under agreements.
• Prepare correspondence and write reports related to programs; may present to groups.
• Review and generate materials for marketing, information, or education.
