Job summary

San Dieguito River Park JPA seeks a Natural Resources & Conservation Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement programs described in the Concept and Trail & Management plan, including natural resource management, habitat restoration, and climate adaptation.

The role acts as the agency's technical lead on ecological stewardship, regulatory permitting, and environmental planning, guiding restoration projects and conservation strategies for long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement programs per the Concept and Trail & Management plan.
• Lead ecological stewardship and regulatory permitting activities.
• Oversee natural resource management and habitat restoration.
• Manage invasive species programs and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate grant programs and climate adaptation initiatives.
• Support wildfire resilience efforts and conservation goals.
