Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Proposal and Project Director to lead end-to-end execution of large enterprise projects across multiple business units, spanning proposal to contract fulfillment. The role drives strategy, schedule, cost, and risk alignment while leading cross-functional teams and engaging customers and partners.

This senior position requires a deep understanding of EPC-style project delivery, energy systems, and an ability to manage complex, multi-segment programs with significant scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, proposal management, or construction management within power/industrial sectors.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, and cost for complex EPC-style projects.
• Working knowledge of power plant systems and major equipment components.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and direct customer interface experience.
• Proficient with standard project management tools and MS Office.
• Fluent in English with global, cross-regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic proposals and contracts.
• Define and manage proposal scope, schedule, cost, and risk with Sales, Commercial, and C&C teams.
• Serve as the primary customer interface, driving clarifications and issue resolution.
• Coordinate EPC contracts and division of responsibility (DOR) for alignment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, planning, cost, logistics, and field execution.
• Own project execution performance, including milestones, cost control, margins, and cash flow.
• Establish operating rhythms, reviews, and KPI tracking for delivery and risk mitigation.
• Implement risk, opportunity, and change management processes; handle change orders and claims.
• Ensure compliance with all processes, contractual requirements, and EHS standards.
