Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a level 4 Manufacturing Planning Manager to lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and capacity management in a team-based environment.

You will coordinate program management, prod ops, manufacturing and industrial engineering to understand production spans and capacity, and you will mentor a team of 6–8 schedulers, driving performance metrics and risk analyses.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of manufacturing, operations, scheduling or logistics experience.
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity and critical path analysis, and material control.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Oracle, Primavera) and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills to interpret data and drive action.
• Experience leading a team and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to location and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports end-to-end planning and schedule management in production environments.
• Coordinates recruitment, selection, training, performance, work assignments, salary and recognition for the planning team.
