Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) within the Weapon System Integration team in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The role drives technical and programmatic excellence for airborne systems development and requires collaboration across DoD service areas including USA, USAF, USMC, and USN. The IPTL will lead a multidisciplinary team, establish vision, and ensure schedules, budgets, and objectives are met while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with internal engineering processes and managing DoD projects.
• Proven ability to lead IPTs and work with cross‑functional teams.
• EVM experience for tracking cost and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Own product cost, schedule, and technical performance for Airborne Pod subsystems.
• Lead cross‑functional team for airborne software/electrical/mechanical development.
• Lead system failure investigations across electrical, software, and mechanical topics.
• Provide programmatic and technical direction with staffing forecasts and resource planning.
• Represent product team at CCBs, ERBs, and FRBs and align with program goals.
• Coordinate PMRs and TIMs with customers and subcontractors.
• Lead technical and cost estimation for ECPs and new initiatives.
• Act as CAM for EV and EAC for the product team.
• Manage risk and opportunity planning and escalation to leadership.
• Delegate tasks to cross‑functional team and mentor teammates.
