Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Project Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the Weapon System Integration team. You will drive technical and programmatic excellence in airborne systems development, collaborating with USA, USAF, USMC, USN and the Program Manager to meet schedules, budgets and objectives.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage cost and risk, and ensure readiness for SRR, CDR, and TRR milestones.

Qualifications

Experience with internal engineering processes and managing projects.
Project Engineer or Manager experience.
Strong technical background with project leadership experience.
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience in tracking and optimizing cost and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of product cost, schedule, and technical performance for airborne subsystems.
Lead a cross-functional team for development and production of airborne systems.
Lead system failure investigations across electrical, software and mechanical topics.
Provide programmatic and technical direction with staffing forecasts and resource planning.
Represent the product team at CCBs, ERBs, and FRBs.
Coordinate PMRs and TIMs with customers and subcontractors.
