Job summary

Redwood Strategy Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls and Administration Manager to own the Integrated Master Schedule for a U.S. Navy boat design program.

You will coordinate with engineering, supply chain, production, and government reviews, ensuring decisions, status, risks, issues, and actions are reflected clearly. This role blends disciplined project controls with hands-on meeting management, reporting, and document administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years in project controls, scheduling, or admin on complex programs.
• Experience building IMS in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong scheduling fundamentals: WBS, dependencies, baselines, critical path.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work with controlled program information and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, baseline, maintain IMS with design, procurement, production, and delivery milestones.
• Integrate inputs from engineering, supply chain, production, quality, logistics, contracts, and government workstreams.
• Validate activity logic, durations, dependencies, calendars, milestones, and critical paths; maintain baseline vs current view.
• Run weekly schedule updates, collect progress evidence, assess forecast dates and float.
• Facilitate look‑ahead planning and identify late inputs, gaps, and risks before they affect delivery.
• Drive recovery planning with accountable owners, documented actions, and due dates; close actions.
• Maintain schedule change control and an audit trail of approved changes.
