Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead controls across multiple Navy programs, overseeing scheduling, cost management, risk analysis, and performance reporting for complex ship repair and modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in defense or maritime environments, strong expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and a proven ability to develop integrated WBS, cost-loaded schedules, and reliable forecasts for program leadership.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of Project Controls or Scheduling experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project or related enterprise scheduling software.
• Experience in planning and oversight of engineering, construction, and shipboard construction projects.
• Familiarity with NAVSEA or MSC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls efforts supporting engineering, ship repair, shipboard installation, and modernization projects for U.S. Navy customers.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee WBS and resource-loaded, cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Establish project controls processes, standards, and SOPs to support program execution and mitigate risks.
• Partner with Program Managers, Estimators, and project teams to develop detailed project plans, cost estimates, proposals, and schedules.
• Integrate financial and project performance data into scheduling and reporting tools for accurate forecasting.
