Job summary

Amentum is seeking a CONUS Project Control Specialist to provide program-level planning, scheduling, and coordination under the Navy PAEs Maritime program. You will maintain the Integrated Master Schedule, analyze performance and risk, and align maintenance activities with major milestones.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in planning/scheduling, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of planning, scheduling, project coordination, or program support experience.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with teams to analyze and resolve problems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience managing schedules, milestones, and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with logic, dependencies, milestones, and critical path health.
• Develop and maintain program-level schedules integrating maintenance, availability, and logistics.
• Provide long-range planning and forecasting to identify upcoming requirements and resource needs.
• Coordinate schedule inputs with the Project Management Team, Industrial Manager, OEMs, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze planned vs actual performance; forecast completion dates and impacts.
• Identify schedule risks and assist in mitigation planning and recovery schedules.
• Evaluate schedule impacts of changes and disruptions on major milestones.
• Support resource and workload forecasting for manpower, materiais, and SME needs.
• Provide schedule data for reviews, leadership briefings, and customer meetings.
• Maintain schedule documentation and planning inputs per program controls.
