Job summary

Aligned Data Centers seeks an Integrated Design Manager to lead day-to-day design management activities, embedding owner mindset and early influence across disciplines, while maintaining core project ownership.

The role ensures design stays aligned with scope, schedule, cost, and quality by coordinating internal teams and third-party design partners through disciplined workflows from design through construction and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial project design programs; experience in data center design/construction preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills; ability to interpret drawings and technical docs.
• Proficiency with design management tools and software such as Bluebeam, Excel, Smartsheets; ability to work with CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management activities from land enablement handoff through turnover to Construction and Operations.
• Serve as primary integrator of architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, BMS, and other systems.
• Oversee onboarding of third‑party design teams and track design schedules and deliverables.
• Drive stakeholder review cycles and resolve design comments in a timely manner.
• Enforce design gating, project requirements including CDE, CCL, and DEC alignment; manage risk and approvals.
