Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Supervisor to lead a small team within the department. You will oversee day-to-day operations, assign tasks, and collaborate with the direct leader to reach department goals.
You will participate in determining staffing levels, maintain open communication with leadership, and uphold a patient- and family-centered model of care while ensuring service excellence.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8hr shifts.
The Supervisor will provide direct supervision of at least two team members in collaboration with direct leader and leadership team and oversee the performance of an entire team, program or work area. In this role, you will oversee day-to‑day operations and assign tasks to reach broader department or organizational goals. The Supervisor participates, with direct leader and leadership team, in determining program/staffing levels, and needs, and adjusts when appropriate and approved. Maintains open communication with department leadership regarding patients, family, personnel, and departmental issues. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family-centered model of care.
Required: Associate's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Child Development, Social Work, or a related discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Child Development, Social Work, or a closely related field.
