Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a BHS Clinical Supervisor to provide direct clinical services and supervise clinical staff. The role includes day-to-day administrative and clinical supervision, caseload assignment, and coordinating activities across teams to support clients and families.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, licensure, and at least 3 years’ experience with children in welfare, mental health, or special education, plus 1 year of supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure required.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children in child welfare, mental health, or special education, plus 1 year of progressive supervisory/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct service providers, through individual and group conferences, to improve diagnostic, treatment, and case management skills.
• Utilize trauma-informed clinical modalities and evidence-based practices for supervision and client/family interventions.
• Evaluate performance of staff and ensure implementation of Recovery Plans, Treatment Plans, and IEPs.
• Provide guidance to staff to understand clients’ needs and coordinate inter-disciplinary teams with parents/guardians/foster parents.
• Oversee scheduling, Medicaid billing coordination, and deadlines for treatment plans and reports.
• Attend staff meetings and professional conferences as part of the treatment team.

Overview

The Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical services to clients and other related service providers. This position will provide day to day administrative and clinical supervision to clinical staff; assign caseloads and coordinates activities of staff.

Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

• Supervise and direct service providers, through individual and group conferences, in improving their diagnostic, treatment, and case management skills. Provide supervision as needed, relating to client needs.
• Utilizes Arrow endorsed trauma informed clinical modalities and evidence-based practices for supervision and all client and family therapeutic interventions and sessions.
• Evaluate performances of those providing clinical and other related services.
• Ensure the implementation of Recovery Plans, Treatment Plans, and/or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide guidance to staff to help them in understanding clients’ needs/diagnoses and enhance service provision skills. Coordinates inter-disciplinary teams as appropriate, involving parents/ guardians/foster parents.
• May maintain and supervise assessment schedule to ensure compliance with timelines required by state regulation and program policy.
• May coordinate and oversee the Medicaid billing for related services as applicable.
• Provide oversight to client related deadlines, including but not limited to treatment plans, IEPs, goal setting, client due date reports.
• Prepare written reports required by agency (progress reports, etc.).
• May provide after-hours “On-Call” coverage for direct services. This service is provided during hours when the offices are closed.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients and/or families during business hours as availability dictates.
• Provide/coordinate training on clinical or related service topics for staff trainings.
• Review and provide feedback on written reports for clinical or related service departments.
• May supervise initial and quarterly client case record review process to ensure case record compliance.
• Attend staff meetings, seminars, and professional conferences and serve as treatment team member. Will attend all team conferences and meetings.
• Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
• May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure required. Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure preferred. Must have at least 3 years of experience working with children in the child welfare, mental health, or special education industry and 1 year of progressive supervisory and administrative experience.
