Northwest Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Behavioral Health Consultant to rotate between roles within a medical clinic in Salem, OR. The position involves structured counseling days and dynamic behavioral health consultation with medical providers.

Qualifications

• Must have credentials and licensure as required in Oregon (LCSW/LPC/LMFT, or PsyD/PhD with appropriate credentialing).
• Graduate coursework in theory, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and dual-diagnosis disorders.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and those in emotional distress.
• Proficiency with DSM‑5‑TR, DSM‑V, and ICD‑10.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group mental health services including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing treatment.
• Support clients with mental health, co‑occurring, and complex needs to improve functioning and progress toward treatment goals.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in required supervision aligned with standards.
