Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare admin/related field preferred.
- Experience in admin, call center, insurance, billing, or customer service is a plus.
- Healthcare setting experience is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Review referrals and payer guidelines to determine eligibility and compliance.
- Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable.
- Coordinate with providers and internal teams to obtain complete documentation.
- Enter referrals within established timeframes while maintaining productivity.
- Navigate EMR and other systems to manage patient records.
