Job summary

The role requires a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, proficiency with Windows and EHR systems, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills to support

Qualifications

• Master's degree required (Maryland LCSW/LCPC or related field)
• Proficient with Windows software
• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills for calls, letters, and documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management
• Ability to work with diverse populations incl. mental illness
• Knowledge of COMAR and CARF standards
• Analytical ability to gather and interpret data and manage records

Responsibilities

• Schedule new clients for initial evaluations across 3 offices
• Respond to inquiries for referrals and gather demographic/insurance data
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
• Act as a liaison to patients, families, outside agencies and referrers
• Coordinate care with other offices to ensure timely, quality service
• Respond to calls and referrals within 24 hours
• Edit documents, generate reports and logs, summarize quality monitors
