Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in healthcare admissions preferred.
• Experience in client assessment, referral, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Outstanding interpersonal and interviewing and assessment skills.
• Skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-admission assessments and client/family interviews.
• Review admissions against criteria, policies and procedures.
• Engage referral sources for client support and business development.
• Coordinate with insurance for eligibility and benefits.
• Document daily activities and admissions in CRM system.
• Coordinate transportation and manage admissions waiting list.
