Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking an Intake Coordinator to help new patients establish care with a LifeStance provider. You will schedule initial assessments, collect demographics, verify insurance eligibility, and manage referrals to match patients with the most suitable providers.

We seek strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to support patient engagement. Hours are 8:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, with a compensation rate of $20/hour, and a focus on HIPAA compliance and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for enhanced qualifications.
• 2+ years in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake communications via phone, email, portal, and chat.
• Schedule initial patient assessments and appointments promptly.
• Verify insurance eligibility and in-network benefits.
• Collect and maintain patient demographics and clinical history.
• Process referrals and match patients with appropriate providers.
• Document interactions accurately in the EHR system.
• Support new patients with portal setup and paperwork.
