Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education helpful.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.
• Committed to Reproductive Justice and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones.
• Enter patient demographics and medical history in Azalea; schedule appointments.
• Call insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits.
• Verify active insurance in ePaces & HealthEnet.
• Greet and check in patients.
• Maintain waiting room cleanliness and comfort.
• Maintain daily patient sheets and prepare deposits.
• Create and check patient charts for accuracy.
• Operate fax, postage, copy, and credit card machines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• File completed charts and billing sheets.
• Send/Request patient records as needed.
• Provide referrals for patients.
• Maintain facility security.
• Enter and check daily sheets.
• Perform UPTs for walk-in patients.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by management.
