Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Requires 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefers at least 6 months in psychiatric nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of walk-in and phone callers and ensure their referral to the service or resource to best address their needs.
• Perform all aspects of the hospital’s assessment and referral process including efficient communication with referral sources and immediate patient disposition.
• Arrange hospital transfer/discharge and/or make connections to other community agencies and resources.
