West Oaks Hospital in Houston is seeking a dynamic Intake Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Intake RN coordinates assessments of incoming patients with Intake Patient Access Representatives and Assessors, initiates the admission process, and provides support to discharge planning under the Director of Intake Services.

This 176-bed acute care facility offers inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs across behavioral health services for children, adolescents

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure.
• CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Preferred: Two years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.
