PAM Voyages Behavioral Health of Sugar Land is seeking an Intake Nurse (RN) to screen patient admissions and relay information to physicians for level-of-care decisions. The role collaborates with nursing, clinical, and intake teams to ensure timely admissions in a behavioral health setting.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, BLS, and crisis management certification. Preferred candidates have 2–3 years in admissions and a strong understanding of hospital criteria.

Qualifications

• RN required and licensed in the state where the hospital resides.
• BLS certification required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards.

Responsabilités

• Screen patient admissions and communicate information to the physician to determine if patient meets level of care.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and intake departments to ensure timely admission of patients.
• Contribute to department meetings, quality initiatives, and maintain services within TJC requirements.
