Job summary

Abode Services in Alameda County seeks an Intake Coordinator to screen referrals and manage intake for housing programs. You will maintain relationships with referral sources, review documentation, and help applicants move into housing with the program team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 1 year serving marginalized populations, admin experience, and a valid CA driver’s license. Flexible schedule and DMV clean record required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field.
• 1 year of experience serving homeless or marginalized populations.
• 1 year of experience providing program support in an administrative capacity.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Valid CA driver's license, current auto insurance, and clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active relationships with referral sources to cultivate referrals and inform the community about services.
• Complete intake processes including phone contact, paperwork, and eligibility checks.
• Assist in housing placement recommendations and psychosocial assessments.
• Track referrals, maintain program trackers, and ensure files meet funding requirements.
• Provide administrative support for flyers, meetings, and supplies.
