Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Pursuing master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology encouraged for licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening, interviewing, and information-gathering abilities.
• Ability to assess information, exercise sound judgment, and identify appropriate service options.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, professionalism, and maintaining appropriate boundaries when discussing sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming referral calls and inquiries from individuals, families, providers, and community partners.
• Conduct 30–40 minute intake appointments to gather information about needs, circumstances, and service goals.
• Assess preliminary program eligibility and identify appropriate program or service options.
• Explain available programs, services, and admission requirements.
• Document intake information accurately and maintain organized referral records.
• Coordinate with program staff to facilitate referrals and next steps.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational policies and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
