Easterseals Florida is seeking an Intake Specialist to join the Treasure Coast Early Steps team in West Palm Beach. You will be the first point of contact for families, collecting intake and insurance information and scheduling evaluations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in medical intake or healthcare administration preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities expected.
Good verbal and written communication skills needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems required.
Accurate data entry and keyboarding skills are important.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for families referred to the Early Steps program.
Contact families promptly and professionally regarding referrals and services.
Explain program eligibility, services, and the Early Steps philosophy.
Collect, verify, and maintain intake and insurance information.
Enter family demographic information into the Early Steps Data System.
Schedule evaluations and coordinate appointment changes.
Monitor timelines and ensure program compliance.
Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the intake process.
