Job summary

JVC Northwest is seeking a Tacoma-based Community and Intake Navigator to support immigrants and allies by gathering intake information, preparing materials for cases, and coordinating with attorneys and advocacy teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, independence, and strong communication in a diverse service environment.

The Navigator will draft forms and declarations, conduct client intakes, and help obtain records while working under attorney supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gathers documents and information for intakes and conducts intakes.
• Assists with legal case preparation and drafting applications/declarations/motions.
• Coordinates bi-monthly workshops and collaborates with attorneys and advocates.
• Gathers records from other agencies and supports attorney supervision.
• Responds to inquiries and supports clients not represented by advocates.
