Job summary

True North Recovery is seeking an Intake Coordinator to serve as the first contact for new clients, guiding them through the intake process and verifying eligibility. The role involves data entry, documentation, and coordination with departments to ensure timely access to services.

The ideal candidate has strong organization, communication, and HIPAA awareness, with prior office experience and ability to adapt to changing responsibilities. This position is based in Alaska with in-person duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related field.
• Proven administrative experience.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Combination of education, experience, and licensure accepted.
• Background check required.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Answering and routing phone calls.
• Greeting clients and assisting with administrative needs.
• Filing client documents (hard copy and electronic).
• HIPAA-compliant task completion.
• Adapt to changing workload day-to-day.
• Field questions from clients and staff.
• Direct clients and staff to appropriate individuals.
• Accurate and efficient data entry.
• Learn and execute Medicaid taxi vouchers process.
• Learn and execute client UA entry into Millennium.
• Learn and execute client intake process for services.
• Schedule client appointments.
