Job summary

Palo Verde Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Intake Coordinator for day or night shifts. This role involves coordinating assessments and referrals, managing community contacts, and ensuring communication between various staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in mental health.
• Must be tested for tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire.
• Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assessment and referral activities at the facility.
• Handle inquiry calls, track initial authorization completion, and schedule evaluations and admissions.
• Work closely with clinical, business office, and utilization review staff.
