Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Advanced Microsoft Suite skills and the ability to access data systems via a web-based system.
• Administrative skills including data entry, 10-key, and filing.
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
• Mathematical skills including basic arithmetic with fractions and decimals.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients requesting services and assess their needs.
• Provide emergency material assistance or refer as applicable.
• Stock pantry and assist with unloading, sorting, and storing deliveries.
• Refer eligible clients to the Pathway of Hope program.
• Screen applicants and complete interviews for utility assistance programs.
• Complete case files and paperwork within 24 hours; track daily stats.
• Enter data accurately in Service Point in a timely manner.
• Assist with Christmas Bureau applications, data entry, and related tasks.
• Assist with back-to-school program preparation and distribution.
• Network with community organizations and build referrals.
• Attend trainings and participate in staff meetings and PQI initiatives.
• Drive is a requirement of the position; perform other duties as assigned.
