Job summary

The Salvation Army Intake Receptionist position supports crisis intervention and client service by greeting guests, screening requests, scheduling appointments, and providing information and referrals. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Experience in a call center or front desk role preferred
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred
• Experience working with low-income populations preferred
• One-year experience in social work or social service field desired

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in person or by phone and provide excellent customer service
• Screen and prioritize requests for assistance based on need and urgency
• Provide information and referrals and schedule appointments
• Identify resources and next steps to address needs
• Maintain records and data for reporting and program tracking
• Perform other duties as assigned
