Goodwill Houston is seeking an Intake Specialist to provide front-line support for the Workforce Development program. You will welcome clients, coordinate intake and orientations, and help participants navigate services with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities include data entry, answering inquiries, and referring participants to appropriate programs. The role requires bilingual Spanish and reliable transportation in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of client services or administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet Career Center clients and visitors.
• Answer telephones, respond to inquiries, refer to GWH programs.
• Data entry and record keeping for WFD programs with confidentiality.
• Promote GWH programs and assist with orientations, intake, and assessments.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain office supplies.
• Refer participants to community partners for social aid.
• Support job training participation as directed by staff.
