The ideal candidate holds a J.D. and active California Bar license, with knowledge of civil litigation and California Civil Code. Compensation ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active California Bar license.
• General knowledge of civil litigation.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant legal principles (preferred).
• Knowledge of California Civil Code (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction process.
• Provide legal advice through consultations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to identify and assess viability and risks of new cases and to identify legal issues; communicate the same to clients.
• Draft legal correspondence, including letters and notices, based on client needs.
• Conduct and direct legal document preparation and review, including summons and complaints and stipulations.
• Assist with occasional court appearances and client presentations.
