Job summary

Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a boutique consumer protection law firm in seeking licensed attorneys to join its team as Intake Attorneys on a fully remote, full-time contract basis. Start Date: October 2026. Initial 90 days with extension potential; Location: Fully Remote; Compensation: $35/hour.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction in good standing.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with clients seeking assistance on residential solar agreements and exit strategies.
• Listen to clients’ concerns, circumstances, and objectives.
• Ask follow-up questions to gather relevant facts and information.
• Prepare accurate notes after each intake meeting.
• Communicate professionally, empathetically, and accessibly.
• Help clients feel heard while gathering information for evaluation.
• Follow intake procedures and apply firm-provided training.
• Maintain reliability with a full-time client schedule and documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys client interaction and helping individuals navigate challenging situations. The firm will provide training on the relevant legal issues and intake process, so prior experience with residential solar agreements or consumer protection law is not required.

Engagement Details

• Start Date: October 2026
• Initial Duration: 90 days, with possibility of extension
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: $35/hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with clients who are seeking assistance with residential solar agreements and potential exit strategies.
• Listen carefully to clients’ concerns, circumstances, and objectives.
• Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to gather relevant facts and information.
• Prepare accurate, organized, and detailed notes following each intake meeting.
• Communicate with clients in a professional, empathetic, and approachable manner.
• Help clients feel heard and supported while gathering the information necessary for the firm to evaluate their matter.
• Follow established intake procedures and apply training provided by the firm.
• Maintain reliability and consistency while managing a full-time schedule of client interactions and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.

• Demonstrated empathy and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals who may be experiencing stressful or difficult circumstances.

• Comfortable conducting client meetings independently in a fully remote environment.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment when interacting with clients.
• Prior experience in consumer protection, solar agreements, or this specific area of law is not required; training will be provided.
