Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is partnering with a fintech client to recruit a Financial Services Contracting Attorney for a 3-month, full-time contract. The role is remote, 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start date.

You will draft and negotiate agreements in financial services, advise on legal issues and risk, and support cross-functional teams to close deals. A U.S. law license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in the United States and in good standing.
• Experience drafting and negotiating financial services agreements, including prime brokerage, lending, and derivatives.
• Strong ability to advise internal teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.

Position Details

• Compensation:$100/hr

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Draft and negotiate discrete agreements in financial services, payments, digital asset space including prime brokerage, lending, and derivatives documentation.
• Own full product life-cycle negotiation for institutional products, advising on legal issues, risks, complex agreement structures, and company policies in a compliance-oriented environment.
• Support internal/cross functional teams - sales, product, engineering, finance, and compliance to close deals.
• Candidates should be well-versed in negotiation and M&A.
• License to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, active and in good standing, is required
