Job summary

WHITE MOUNTAIN APACHE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, INC. seeks an Intake/Assessment Services Program Manager to oversee staff, programs, and outreach within the Intake/Assessment Services Department.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to speak the Apache language preferred.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational/time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a wide range of people and teams.
• Working knowledge of tribal community needs, strengths and services.
• MS Office proficiency; ability to operate copier and fax machine.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff oversight and direct/administrative supervision of Intake/Assessment staff.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and development for department staff.
• Assist clients in accessing services and resources across agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisor and team to review client progress and service needs.
• Coordinate caseload assignments with the clinical supervisor.
• Lead recruitment and training initiatives for new staff in Intake/Assessment.
• Develop and implement new programming for Intake/Assessment services.
• Share responsibility for outreach activities and community engagement.
• Provide backup coverage for staff during assessments, intakes, groups, etc.
• Verify and print Medifax confirmations for intake processes as needed.
• Enter all intake information into the electronic health record.
• Participate in supervisory teams and follow all policies and standards.
