Job summary

Universal Health Services, Fremont Hospital, is seeking an Intake Administrative Assistant to manage inquiry calls, update bed board, schedule assessments, obtain signatures, and coordinate with nurses and admissions staff in a busy inpatient setting.

The AM shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm supports care for children through adults in a fully accredited psychiatric facility. CPR/AED certification is required, and CPI training must be completed within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting, performing administrative duties, telephonic inquiries, and customer service.
• CPR with AED certification must be current and a copy provided to Human Resources on hire.
• Must complete CPI training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiry calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Update bed board and schedule assessments.
• Obtain necessary signatures from patients and communicate with department nurses and admissions staff.
• Perform other non-clinical duties as assigned.
