Job summary

Washburn County seeks an Intake/Access Worker to serve as the gateway for services across several social work programs. You will gather relevant information from clients, referents, the public, and law enforcement, and document a thorough report in the designated database for supervisor review.

You will support the Behavioral Health Unit, perform interviews, coordinate referrals to APS, CCS, CSP, CLTS, and early intervention, and work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Services with 2+ years in county social/human services, or 5+ years in a similar capacity.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and access to private transportation.
• Ability to document thoroughly in required databases and reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews to gather information for APS, CCS, CSP, CLTS, and early intervention referrals.
• Provide information and referrals to the public and collaborating agencies.
• Maintain and update information in local/state data systems.
• Perform administrative tasks such as records requests and redaction.
• Attend staff meetings and training to build skills.
