Job summary

JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven Intake Coordinator to help clients access timely, coordinated services across JAMHI programs.

You will identify client needs, route to service lines, maintain engagement, and triage behavioral health crises to reduce barriers to care. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to complete intake and documentation accurately, communicate requirements clearly, and ensure referrals move smoothly through the intake process.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED and a valid Alaska driver’s license.
• Three years of social service, behavioral health, or complex care navigation experience using an EHR.
• Preferred qualifications include bilingual or multilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to access services by identifying needs and routing to appropriate service lines.
• Maintain client engagement through the intake process and triage behavioral health crises when needed.
• Coordinate next steps with clients and providers to ensure referrals move smoothly through the intake process and maintain accurate records.
