Job summary

Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC (ISC) is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support senior staff with new and renewal accounts, risk assessment, and loss data. This role is developing and requires primarily office or remote work within commutable distance to offices or remote from other US locations.

The position involves collecting and reviewing risk information, assisting with rate computations, and coordinating with the underwriting team to issue policies accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 1 year of P&C underwriting or related underwriting support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
• Willing to work in a hybrid/remote capacity as eligible across US locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess loss history and current financial condition for cases.
• Review documentation and perform risk analysis to determine eligibility.
• Assist senior underwriter with submission reviews and rate computations where needed.
• Collaborate with underwriting team to finalize applications efficiently.
• Manage multiple data sources and communicate with customers and team members.
