Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to lead complex life insurance transformations within its BTG practice. You will guide large-scale platform programs, oversee multi-vendor delivery, and act as a trusted advisor to client executives.

You will shape delivery roadmaps, governance, and execution strategies while driving growth, talent development, and thought leadership in insurance transformation. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 6–10+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience within Life, Annuity, or Group Benefits insurance.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
• Experience with policy administration platforms including FAST (Verisk), FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable PAS.
• Strong understanding of the Life & Annuity value chain including product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
• Program management experience within onshore/offshore delivery models involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing platform configuration, integration, APIs, middleware, and data migration efforts.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary client engagements in life insurance transformations.
• Manage delivery governance, budgets, risks, and stakeholder alignment across programs.
• Coach and mentor consulting teams to drive accountability and collaboration.
• Support business development, proposals, and account growth activities.
• Drive practice growth through AI adoption, innovation, and industry best practices.
