Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Business Transformation & Growth practice to lead architecture strategy and design for large-scale insurance transformations. You will guide target-state architectures, evaluate platforms, establish scalable integration patterns, and oversee implementation execution.

You will advise client executives and multidisciplinary teams while leveraging AI capabilities to accelerate value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical/business field.
• 8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience as Solution/Enterprise/Technical/Lead Architect on large programs.
• Deep understanding of Life & Annuity value chain (development, underwriting, policy admin, servicing, billing, claims, distribution).
• Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, etc.) or similar PAS.
• Ability to design enterprise integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and multi-disciplinary team leadership.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Experience delivering architecture deliverables, roadmaps, and transformation strategies.

• Lead architecture strategy and target-state design for insurance transformations.
• Define scalable, secure architectures for data, applications, and integrations.
• Advise executives on technology investments and platform choices.
• Drive AI-enabled modernization to improve value and efficiency.
• Oversee governance, standards, and integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, product, and operations teams to address risks.
• Promote AI-driven delivery and engineering productivity.
