Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join our Business Transformation & Growth practice to help clients architect and modernize their business and technology ecosystems. You will lead architecture strategy for large-scale life insurance transformations, advising executives on platform choices, defining target-state architectures, and guiding delivery teams through complex decisions.

This role emphasizes AI-enabled modernization and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of consulting, technology, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years of experience within Life Insurance, Annuities, or Group Benefits.
• Experience serving as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Architect on large transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of the Life & Annuity value chain, including product development, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, billing, claims, and distribution.
• Experience with policy administration platforms (e.g., FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro).
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures utilizing APIs and modern patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading architecture governance and cross-functional decision-making forums.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Experience developing architecture deliverables, technology roadmaps, and transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy, target-state design, and modernization roadmaps for large-scale insurance transformation programs.
• Advise client executives on technology investments, platform strategies, and transformation decisions.
• Define scalable, secure architectures for business, application, data, integration, and technology domains.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across insurance core platforms, cloud technologies, integrations, data, and analytics.
• Establish enterprise AI architecture strategies leveraging Generative AI, ML, automation, and analytics.
• Provide oversight for data architecture, migration, reporting, analytics, and MDM initiatives.
• Lead architecture governance, review boards, and decision-making processes.
• Partner with delivery, engineering, product, and operations teams to address technical challenges and mitigate risks.
• Mentor architecture professionals across engagements and contribute to practice growth.
