Job summary

Towne Insurance is seeking an Insurance Talent Acquisition Officer to proactively source candidates and manage the full recruitment lifecycle. You will engage passive and active candidates, coordinate with hiring managers, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new associates.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, collaboration with departments, and ongoing process improvements to support Towne’s growth and service commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Demonstrates highest integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of staff and applicants.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Able to work outside standard business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Proactively sources and engages passive and active candidates through direct outreach, networks, career events, and platforms.
• Supports full recruitment lifecycle: intake, posting, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Partners with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
• Enter new hires into payroll/HRIS (UKG) and coordinate onboarding.
• Coordinate with training, licensing, and IT on new hire information.
• Provide positive onboarding experience for hires and managers.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to recruiting strategy.
• Attend career fairs and build relationships with colleges/universities.
